Not So Thorny Thorns
Not So Thorny Thorns: This is my first picture on the site taken with my new Nikon D70. Immediately I can see that it is a lot easier to achieve depth of field than before. I'm still learning how to use the camera effectively. So far it is quite an amazing camera and I havent encountered any problems. The weather here is still sunny and cloudless, making for great pictures.

Love the way you mastered the depth of field in this shot.

Yeah I'm no photographer, but there's great depth in that shot

Hey..i like this shot..simple and from a totaly different angle...

In digital Reflex cameras depth of field will be more difficult to execute well than with compact digital cameras...but you can make photos with a blurred background....

i like this perspective

your focal point is the leaves, but my eye would much rather look inside the room becuase the open door has an implied line pointing inside the room.
